Release Notes
Content and Environment
The Imperial Citadel (All Modes)
- The damage reduction buff Psychic Armor on the scorpion and yuanti has been corrected to reduce incoming damage by 50% (previously ~90%).
The Imperial Citadel (Normal)
- Monstrous Menagerie
- Gravity generators will no longer regenerate health.
- The yuanti's Healing Aura now does significantly reduced healing.
- The burn damage from Feral Call of Thoon now deals less damage.
- Emperor Xeleth
- Emperor Xeleth's Refracted Star Beam coming from the center crystal now takes longer to reflect from the outer crystal mirrors.
- Emperor Xeleths' Refracted Star Beam will now only reflect from one of the outer crystal mirrors, rather than both.
- Shooting Star damage has been reduced.
- The Zodar
- Reduced the damage of Refracted Star Beams during the Zodar encounter in Normal Mode.
- Players who stay in the Astral Font will no longer be burned away and killed in Normal Mode.
Wildspace
- High Shaman Badoongeee and the Divergent Progenitors have had their excessively mighty attacks returned to a reasonable damage level.
Combat and Powers
Artifacts
- Symbol of Air: The speed buff provided by the Symbol of Air (if the artifact activation doesn't hit enemies) now uses the item's icon instead of a blank white box.
Companions
- Basic Bok
- Rebalanced as a single target DPS companion
- Cowardly Dash player power has been revised to provide a stronger, more consistent, but still very silly effect"
Enemies and Encounters
Critters
- Shambling Mounds
- Impaling Vines now hits an area that matches its telegraph, but the damage-over-time from this power has been radically decreased.
- Entangling Mass now deals a 'moderate' amount of damage instead of nearly zero damage.
- These changes should make Shambling Mounds more 'fair' for melee players to engage, with less instant deaths if you are hit by Impaling Vines, but more evenly distributed damage.
- Rain of Fire power, used by the Zythar class of critters, no longer just tickles the player and now deals proper damage.
Items and Economy
Artifacts
- Sigil of the Bard: At Epic quality and higher, this artifact now properly requires text entry to discard.
- Mythallar Fragment: At Epic quality and higher, this artifact now properly requires text entry to discard.
- Percentage passive stats on artifacts, specifically Stamina Regeneration and Gold Bonus, now scale based on the artifact's tier of progression, rather than Item Level.
- This is unfortunately a significant nerf to the Scintillating Symbol of Water, which went out with a Stamina Regeneration percentage buff that capped out at 38% at Mythic rank--way, way higher than other artifacts, which cap out at 15%.
- While reviewing this, we also buffed the Stamina Regeneration stat on the Mythallar Fragment to match the stat budgeting on other artifacts.
- Note that the original Illusionist's Mask from the Masquerade of Liars caps out at 15% at Legendary rank instead of Mythic--this is because its item progression tiers start at Common quality instead of Uncommon quality, and it doesn't have a Mythic rank.
- Specific changes:
- Scintillating Symbol of Water: The Stamina Regeneration passively granted by this artifact is now 3% / 6% / 9% / 12% / 15% based on rank, reduced from 6.3% / 9.4% / 16% / 25% / 37.5%.
- Mythallar Fragment: The Stamina Regeneration passively granted by this artifact is now 3% / 6% / 9% / 12% / 15% based on rank, increased from 2% / 3% / 5% / 8% / 12%.
- All other artifacts that grant Stamina Regeneration or Gold Bonus as passive stats now grant 3% / 6% / 9% / 12% / 15% based on rank, increased (at ranks lower than max) from 2.5% / 3.75% / 6.25% / 10% / 15%.
Events
- Coins of Waukeen: The Bard transmutation weapon, Gilded Rapier of Waukeen, can now be purchased from the Coins of Waukeen vendor in the Moonstone Mask for 80 Coins of Waukeen. (There are no current plans to add a matching lute; if one is added in the future, the Rapier will likely drop to 40 Coins.)
Stores
- All Wildspace Upgrade component items now show the proper bind status (BoP) in their store listings. The bind status of the components themselves has not changed.
Tymora’s Lucky Coin
- Players are once again able to unequip Tymora's Lucky Coin.
- Players are once again able to use Tymora's Lucky Coin in Reaper's Challenge with No Consumables on; however, the buffs still drop off immediately when used. (Dev note: We reverted the ""Can't use in Reaper's Challenge"" change because it resulted in the ""Can't unequip"" bug.)
- If you have a broken loadout due to the previous issue with Tymora's Lucky Coin, you can fix the issue by using the Replace Loadout function to replace the broken loadout with another loadout
