Today is a truly historic moment for us here at Cryptic Studios and Perfect World Entertainment. Magic: Legends has come such a long way since we first pitched the idea to Wizards of the Coast back in 2016. Even after we announced Magic: Legends in December of 2019, we had no idea that a global pandemic would be right around the corner. Our team had to learn a lot about communicating and working together remotely. But we did learn, and we continued working from a distance to bring our vision of the game to life, all while listening to and implementing feedback from the thousands of players who joined us over the last year during our Closed Alpha tests.

The Magic: Legends development team has spent the last few years creating an action RPG experience unlike any other, which combines the power fantasy of becoming a Planeswalker with fast-paced combat tied to strategic deckbuilding. Now, after all that hard work, we’re finally ready to welcome you to Open Beta! Magic: Legends launches on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation®4 later this year.

Join thousands of players worldwide to experience the free-to-play, online action RPG set in the iconic Magic: The Gathering Multiverse. Take on the role of a powerful, spell-wielding Planeswalker with one of five unique starter classes (with additional classes available later on), including the Sanctifier, Mind Mage, Necromancer, Geomancer, and Beastcaller. Traverse six diverse regions across 4 planes of the Multiverse like Shiv, Benalia, Tazeem, Tolaria, Gavony, and the Meditation Realm, while collecting more than 175 powerful mana-based spells and over 200 Artifacts and Equipment pieces inspired by the original strategy game. Combine all of these elements to mix, match, and maximize your loadout and play style - so you can control chaotic ARPG combat with our unique Magic twist, and save the Multiverse from its greatest threat yet. This is Magic: Legends

And what would a launch be without goodies? Whether you play on Arc Games or the Epic Games Store, we’ve got plenty for you to enjoy! Players who download Magic: Legends on Arc Games will receive a free Gavony Vigilante Costume for their character, the 'Bruiser’ skin for the Ogre Mortar creature summon, two drop boosts and two mission boosts. Epic Games Store players can claim a free Moorland Ranger Costume, Moorland Ranger Werewolf Summon Skin and two drop boosts until April 6, 2021, at 9:00 am PDT.

Welcome to the Multiverse!
